First Recorded Inventions by Black Women

Black women have contributed greatly to this society with their imaginative and creative talents being responsible for many useful inventions that we still use today. Many of these invention have been responsible for advancements and developments that have improved our lifestyles. Unfortunately many of these women go unrecognised for their works and many of us as black women make use of their inventions and others that have stemmed from their initial initiative without knowing that the item was created by a fellow black woman. 

 

This list is made up of some of the very first recorded inventions by black women. If you are aware of any others that should be added to the list, please leave a message in the comments.
